The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Sonargaon University (SU) was established in 2013 under the Faculty of Science and Engineering with the goal of providing quality education in computing and information technology. The department offers a four-year Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science and Engineering program that is designed according to the curriculum of reputed national and international universities.

Three members of the Sonargaon University Programming Club (SUPC) participated in The Bug Hunt 2026, one of Bangladesh's leading cybersecurity events. They gained hands-on experience in bug hunting, attended expert-led sessions, and earned certificates and recognition for their performance.
