Each year, many teams from Sonargaon University takes part in the preliminary round, and at least one team goes into the regional round. A total of 2481 teams from different private & public universities fought in the preliminary contest at the ICPC 2023 Asia Dhaka Regional held on 13th October, 2023. Among them team ZerOne from CSE Department of Sonargaon University secured 353 place for the main round. The main round of the ICPC 2023 Asia Dhaka Regional was held on 04th November, 2023 at BUBT. In the main round Team ZerOne solved 2 problems and secured 181st place. This was indeed a big achievement. They have set the standard for the future teams of Sonargaon University. Participating in such contest has inspired the students of CSE to work on their programming skills and develop team work. This also helps students work on their socializing skills as they get to interact with programmers from all over the country and helps them boost their confidence.
