The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Sonargaon University, successfully organized a seminar titled "Empowering the Future with Technology" on 16 November 2024 at the university campus. The seminar aimed to inspire students by highlighting the transformative role of technology in education, innovation, and future career opportunities.
The keynote session was delivered by Md. Abdur Rahman Nipu, Senior Vice Chairman of ICT Olympiad Bangladesh Trust, who shared valuable insights into emerging technologies, digital innovation, and the importance of developing technical skills to meet future industry demands. The seminar was also attended by distinguished faculty members of the Department of CSE, including Arifur Rahman, Assistant Professor and Coordinator, Sahidulla Ayon, Lecturer and Assistant Coordinator, and Sabrina Tasnim, Assistant Professor, whose presence encouraged students to actively engage in the discussion.
More than 100 students and faculty members participated in the seminar, making it an interactive and insightful learning experience. Following the seminar, an offline registration booth for ICT Olympiad Bangladesh Season 2 was inaugurated, providing students with the opportunity to register for one of the country's largest technology competitions. The event successfully motivated students to enhance their technological knowledge, participate in national-level competitions, and prepare for future careers in the ICT sector.
