- Md. Fakhrul Islam is a faculty member in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. He earned his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science and Engineering with a CGPA of 3.57. Throughout his undergraduate studies, he demonstrated consistent academic excellence.His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, High-Performance Computing, Parallel Computing, GPU Computing, Evolutionary Algorithms, and Machine Learning. His current research focuses on developing efficient AI-driven optimization algorithms for large-scale combinatorial optimization problems using CUDA-enabled GPU architectures. He has published a research paper in the field of Visual Question Answering (VQA) at the International Conference on Computing Advancements (ICCA 2024). His ongoing research explores machine learning-assisted genetic algorithms, reinforcement learning-guided optimization, and GPU-accelerated metaheuristics for complex optimization problems, with the goal of contributing to high-impact international journals. He is committed to advancing research and teaching in artificial intelligence and modern computing technologies while promoting innovative solutions to real-world computational challenges.
